Buffoon and Aberavon

Port Talbot based film and media company, Buffoon Film and Media, move into their fifth consecutive season as Media Partners of Aberavon Rugby Club.

On the field there has been some success in last season with Aberavon Rugby Club reaching the final of the Principality Premiership but just lost out to Merthyr RFC at the Talbot Athletic Ground.

Off the field, Aberavon Rugby Club has pride in being as professional as possible in the environment of the semi-professional era. Partnering with Buffoon Film and Media enable the club to lead by example off the field.

“Working with Buffoon Film and Media is truly amazing. Adam and the team are very professional and share a clear vision into what Aberavon is trying to achieve off the field”, said Aberavon Commercial and Marketing Manager Chris Davies.

“The working relationship has increased each year to feature different forms of media including Facebook Live posts, but also moving away from rugby and focusing on promoting the club in a fun spirited way”.

Aberavon Rugby Club and Buffoon Film and Media have regularly provided interesting videos for charity including the most recent ‘Wizards Come Dine with Me’ that raised over £1000 for Comic Relief.

“We aim to work with Buffoon again to deliver a series of videos with a cause for charity. However, this year will be a heavy focus on our new children’s club”, added Chris.

Adam Amor, Director at Buffoon Film and Media added, “working with Aberavon Rugby Club is a great privilege and we’re excited to be partnering with them once again this season. The club’s online following has grown considerably since we started back in 2013 and we’re looking forward to working with the players, staff and fans once again.”

The Buffoon Film and Media logo will appear on the sleeve of the Aberavon Blood and Black jersey and also their team wear.
